In the newly built buildings on Järntorgsgatan, you’ll find the bistro and brasserie Alba. The restaurant was founded by the restaurateur behind Bang Matbar, a dining spot near Stigbergsliden. Here, French culinary techniques are combined with a modern Nordic kitchen and a classic three‑course menu. The menu changes with the seasons, and Alba is a place for all occasions. Come by for brunch, lunch or dinner. No matter when you visit, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Right next door is Alba’s sister space, Röda Rummet, which serves as a bar and patisserie. It’s a lovely spot for a drink before your meal, a dessert afterwards, or simply to soak up the atmosphere in a cosy space with its own distinct character.
