SevärdheterAnnedalskyrkan
Albin Holms Backe 10, Göteborg
In the neighbourhood Annedal stands the impressive Annedalskyrkan. Designed by Theodor Wåhlin, the church was inaugurated in 1910. It’s built of brick and adorned with granite details around its windows, doors, gables and corners. One of its most distinctive features is the unusual placement of the chancel in the south, unlike most churches in Sweden where it typically faces east. With seating for up to 1,000 people, Annedalskyrkan is not only a venue for service and school ceremonies. The church also occasionally hosts both small and large concerts, as well as other cultural events. Accessibility Ramp, accessible toilet and hearing loop.
