Asperö

Close to the ferry terminal Saltholmen lies the charming island Asperö, situated in the southern part of the Gothenburg archipelago. The island is home to around 460 year-round resident and offers scenic sunbathing rocks and excellent walking paths. During the summer season, you can treat yourself to sandwiches, ice cream and traditional Swedish fika at Knutsson’s Garden Café, located in the middle of the island. Also, don’t miss the small museum about Asperös history located close to the ferry quay.
