Bamba

“Bamba” is the Gothenburg word for “school canteen”. At Bamba they serve classic local dishes such as Swedish meatballs with mash and breaded fish with potatoes – just like the lunch dishes in Swedish schools. On 16 May 2025, another Bamba restaurant opened in the older part of the new Majorna district, Fixfabriken. The restaurant is housed in the old garage, which has been carefully renovated.
