The hotel is divided into two parts: Gothenburg’s historic post office building from 1925 has been joined with a new, modern extension. Interior details from the post office’s heyday remain, and dark, warm tones combined with contemporary furnishings create a cosy atmosphere. The hotel has two award-winning restaurants – Vrå, which blends ingredients from the Swedish west coast with Japanese cooking techniques, and Norda, located in the grand former post hall, drawing inspiration from the East Coast of the United States. The hotel also offers several bars and a popular outdoor terrace during the summer months. Guests can enjoy the hotel’s gym and year-round rooftop pool, and book massages, treatments, and visits to the spa area, The Treat.
