The Fishing Museum in Hönö Klåva harbour is a popular destination for family trips. Learn about the tools and boats that were used in the past, and explore Normy – the fishing boat which is built into the museum itself. The museum also tells a story of the Second World War, when 31 fishing boats and 91 men were lost – most of them from Öckerö municipality. From May to September, weekly art exhibitions are shown, and during the summer the boat Kågen is moored outside the museum. You can also look through a real submarine periscope to follow the shipping traffic at sea, or climb the tower and enjoy the view all the way out to Vinga island.
