Frölunda Kulturhus

Valthornsgatan 13, Göteborg

After a period of renovation, Frölunda Kultur Hus (Arts Centre) and Frölunda Bibliotek (Library) will reopen on Saturday, 26 April 2025. Come and explore the new library, which now features a larger children’s section, new furnishings, more study spaces, and a music studio. The centre hosts a rich and varied programme of cultural events and exhibitions. You’ll find music performances catering to different tastes, afternoon tea dances, theatre, dance and cinema for all ages, lectures and talks, open creative workshops with various themes, Sunday craft sessions, painting, and more. Around ten major exhibitions are held each year, alongside numerous smaller ones on a range of themes. In summer, activities also take place outdoors in Positivparken. The centre also houses Frölundabadet (a swimming pool), a gym, a wellness treatment room, and Frölunda Library. In addition, there are several sports halls, conference rooms, and event spaces available for hire. The House also serves as the hub for the Västra Göteborg branch of the School of Culture.
