Gotaleden

This hiking trail runs between Gothenburg and Vårgårda, with 12 different stages that together form a distance of 99 kilometers. All stages between Gothenburg and Alingsås are reached by commuter train, and Nääs Fabriker, Aludden and Jonsereds Trädgårdscafé are just a few of the places the trail passes. For those more inclined to the wilderness, there are also shelters and campsites to spend the night at, but if you are a little more comfortable, there are a number of hotels to stay at along the route.
