Kometen is known as a lively and entertaining restaurant where, over the years, many artists, writers and musicians have left their mark on the atmosphere. For generations, guests have enjoyed well-known local dishes made with high-quality ingredients like Swedish meatballs, pickled herring platter, and the shrimp starter Toast Skagen. In 2017, Per Ove Lundgren and his family took over Restaurant Kometen from Swedish chef Leif Mannerström and the two brothers Christer and Ulf Johansson.
