Marimekko

The Marimekko store in Gothenburg is found right in the centre, where the shopping streets Vallgatan and Korsgatan meet. You will find signature stripes and bold patterns on everything from fashion to tablewear, interior design and fabrics. Marimekko is a Scandinavian brand known for bold design where minimalism meet colourful retro patterns. The most famous patterns of them all is probably Unikko, the large poppy flower created by Maija Isola in 1964 and still hugely popular today.
